MUDr. Tomáš Soukup, Ph.D. Title of thesis: Clinical factors influencing the pathogenesis of pain in rheumatoid arthritis Background: The aim of this thesis was to describe the studied group of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Subsequently, the work focused on the analysis of selected clinical factors that may influence pain perception in RA. Methods: The study group consisted of 233 volunteers diagnosed with RA. Patient data were obtained from the II. Internal Gastroenterology Clinic of the University Hospital in Hradec Králové. Data analysis was performed using Microsoft Excel and GraphPad Prism. The following statistical tests were applied in Microsoft Excel: two-sample F-test for variances, two-sample T-test with equal/unequal variances, one-way ANOVA and linear regression. In GraphPad Prism, the methods of Tukey's multiple comparison test, logistic regression, chi-square test and Fisher's exact test were used. MUDr. Tomáš Soukup, Ph.D. Název diplomové práce: Klinické faktory ovlivňující patogenezi bolesti u revmatoidní artritidy Cíl práce: Cílem této diplomové práce bylo popsat sledovanou skupinu pacientů s revmatoidní artritidou (RA). Následně se práce zaměřila na analýzu vybraných klinických faktorů, které mohou ovlivňovat vnímání bolesti u RA. Metody: Sledovanou skupinu tvořilo 233 dobrovolníků s diagnózou RA. Údaje o pacientech byly získány z II. interní gastroenterologické kliniky Fakultní nemocnice v Hradci Králové. K analýze dat byly využity programy Microsoft Excel a GraphPad Prism. V prostředí Microsoft Excel byly aplikovány následující statistické testy: dvouvýběrový F-test pro rozptyl, dvouvýběrový T-test s rovností/nerovností rozptylů, jednofaktorová ANOVA a lineární regrese. V programu GraphPad Prism byly využity metody Tukeyho testu mnohonásobného porovnávání, logistické regrese, chí-kvadrát testu a Fisherova exaktního testu.
