Znalosti sester v oblasti komunikace s pacientem s mentálním postižením

Abstract

Bakalářská práce v teoretické části představuje základní východiska komunikace s pacienty s mentálním postižením, popisuje jejich psychologické zvláštnosti a pro vykreslení škály a variability problémů, s nimiž je možno se v komunikaci s pacientem s mentálním postižením setkat, věnuje prostor otázkám komunikace se zaměřením na specifický obraz jedinců s Downovým syndromem a s poruchami autistického spektra. V praktické části pak hodnotí výsledky dotazníkového šetření a dochází k závěru, že pouhá četnost setkání nepřináší automaticky změnu postoje sester k pacientům s mentálním postižením. V závěru práce uvádí praktická doporučení pro komunikaci sester s pacienty s mentálním postižením.

The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis presents the basic background of communication with patients with intellectual disabilities, describes their psychological specificities and in order to show the range and variability of problems that can be encountered in communication with a patient with intellectual disabilities, it devotes space to communication issues with a focus on the specific picture of people with Down syndrome and autism spectrum disorders. In the practical part, it evaluates the results of the questionnaire survey and concludes that the mere frequency of meetings does not automatically bring about a change in the attitude of nurses towards patients with intellectual disabilities. The thesis concludes with practical recommendations for nurses' communication with patients with intellectual disabilities.
