Diabetes mellitus 1. typu a související komplikace

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá onemocněním diabetes mellitus 1. typu a jeho komplikacemi v dětském věku. V teoretické části mé bakalářské práce jsem podrobně popsala a rozebrala onemocnění diabetes mellitus 1. typu. V jednotlivých kapitolách jsem se věnovala příčinám, příznakům a komplikacím jak akutním, tak i chronickým. Empirická část práce obsahuje výsledky vlastního průzkumného šetření a jeho komparaci s výsledky dalších podobných prací. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo ověřit, zda rodiče dětí, kteří trpí onemocněním diabetes mellitus 1. typu, mají dostatek informací a znalostí souvisejících s tímto onemocněním a jeho možnými komplikacemi. Metodou pro zpracování této práce bylo zvoleno kvantitativní výzkumné šetření, a to formou nestandardizovaného dotazníku. Do šetření se zapojilo 69 respondentů ze 100 distribuovaných dotazníku, jehož návratnost činila 69 % z obou zdravotnických odborných pracovišť, číselně 33 respondentů z Fakultní nemocnice Královské Vinohrady a 36 respondentů z Fakultní nemocnice v Motole. Výsledky výzkumného šetření poukázaly na skutečnost, že rodiče a dětští pacienti hodnotí edukaci týkající se komplikací velmi dobře, ale i tak několik respondentů odpovědělo, že si potřebné informace musí získávat skrze jiné zdroje. This bachelor thesis deals with type 1 diabetes mellitus and its complications in childhood. In the theoretical part of my bachelor thesis, I described and discussed in detail the disease of type 1 diabetes mellitus. In the individual chapters I have discussed the causes, symptoms and complications both acute and chronic. The empirical part of the thesis contains the results of my own survey and its comparison with the results of other similar works. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to verify whether parents of children suffering from type 1 diabetes mellitus have enough information and knowledge related to this disease and its possible complications. The method chosen for this thesis was a quantitative research survey in the form of a non-standardized questionnaire. The survey involved 69 respondents out of 100 distributed questionnaires, the return rate of which was 69 % from both medical professional departments, numerically 33 respondents from the University Hospital Královské Vinohrady and 36 respondents from the University Hospital in Motol.
