Imunopatologie diabetu mellitu 1. typu - autoreaktivní versus regulační mechanismy

Abstract

V textu své disertační práce předkládám souhrn publikovaných prací doplněný širším výkladem týkajícím se problematiky imunopatologie diabetu I.typu. Tématem jsem se zabývala v rámci svého postgraduálního studia v oboru "Imunologie" na 2.lékařské fakultě Univerzity Karlovy v Praze (2.LF UK) od roku 2003. Experimentální základ této práce byl získán v průběhu let 2003-2006 v Laboratoři autoimunitních onemocnění na Pediatrické klinice FN Motol a 2.LF UK v Praze a v Laboratoři experimentální hematologie a buněčné imunoterapie ve PN Brno a Centru buněčné imunoterapie Masarykovy univerzity (MU) v Brně. In the text of my dissertation, I present a summary of published studies supplemented by a broader interpretation concerning the issue of immunopathology of type 1 diabetes. I have focused on this topic as part of my postgraduate studies in the field of Immunology at the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague since 2003. The experimental foundation of this work was established during the years 2003-2006 in the Laboratory of Autoimmune Diseases at the Pediatric Clinic of Motol University Hospital and the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague, as well as in the Laboratory of Experimental Hematology and Cellular Immunotherapy at the Psychiatric Hospital in Brno and the Cell Immunotherapy Center of Masaryk University (MU) in Brno.
