Irena Novotná Title: The Case Study of a Patient Undergoing Physical Therapy with a Diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis with Pain in the Shoulder and Hip Joints Objectives: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to develop a case report of a patient with a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. To process theoretical knowledge about this diagnosis obtained from the scientific literature, and to propose suitable physiotherapeutical treatment for a patient with a diagnosis mentioned above. Methods: The bachelor's thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part focuses on the description of the general structure of the joint and the description of rheumatoid arthritis, its clinical picture and the possibilities of diagnosis and therapy. A case study report of a specific patient with this diagnosis is presented in the special part. As part of the case study, examination methods and therapeutic techniques were used. Those are part of the curriculum of the bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy at Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University. Results: The patient experienced a decrease in pain of the joints and an increase in the range of motion. Other results are described in the chapter Evaluation of the effect of therapy. Irena Novotná Název: Kazuistika fyzioterapeutické péče o pacienta s diagnózou revmatoidní artritida s bolestí v oblasti ramenního a kyčelního kloubu Cíle: Cílem této bakalářské práce je vypracovat kazuistiku pacienta s diagnózou revmatoidní artritida. Zpracovat teoretické poznatky o této diagnóze získaných z odborné literatury a navrhnout vhodné postupy fyzioterapeutické péče pro pacienta s touto diagnózou. Metody: Bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou částí, kdy část teoretická se zaměřuje na popis obecné stavby kloubu a popis revmatoidní artritidy, jejího klinického obrazu a možností diagnostiky a terapie. Ve speciální části je zpracována kazuistika konkrétního pacienta s touto diagnózou. V rámci kazuistiky byly použity vyšetřovací metody a terapeutické postupy, které jsou náplní bakalářského studia oboru Fyzioterapie na Fakultě tělesné výchovy a sportu Univerzity Karlovy. Výsledky: U pacienta došlo k minimalizaci bolestí v kloubech a ke zvětšení rozsahu kloubní pohyblivosti. Další výsledky jsou popsány v kapitole Zhodnocení efektu terapie.
