Abstract

Title: Sparta and Slavia in the interwar period Objectives: The aims of this work are the analysis of the history of Sparta and Slavia in the interwar period, the comparison of both clubs in individual aspects, the consolidation of published into logical cathegories and the discovery of new information and interesting facts about the topic. Methods: In this work I used historical methods. It is primarily a direct method, and then also progressive and biographical and statistical methods. Archival sources and contemporary literature were researched using these methods. Results: I managed to compare the sports side of both clubs in the interwar period and the impact of the clubs on the national team. I also mapped the development of the stadiums and the fan base. I also described the topic of professionalism. In all areas I complied the published literature, which I supplemented with additional information obtained from the study of archival sources. Název: Sparta a Slavia v meziválečném období Cíle: Hlavním cílem této práce je rozbor historie fotbalových klubů Sparty a Slavie v období mezi světovými válkami, porovnání obou klubů v jednotlivých aspektech, ucelení dosud publikovaného do logických kategorií, a zjištění nových informací a zajímavostí týkajících se daného tématu. Metody: V práci byly použity jednotlivé historické metody. Jde především o přímou metodu, a dále pak také o metody progresivní, biografické a statistické. Těmito metodami byly zkoumány archivní prameny i soudobá literatura. Výsledky: Podařilo se mi porovnat sportovní stránku obou klubů v daném historickém období a vliv obou týmů na výběr reprezentace. Dále jsem zmapoval zázemí obou týmů, rozvoj jejich stadionů a specificitu fanouškovské základny. V neposlední řadě jsem se věnoval tématu profesionalismu. Ve všech těchto okruzích jsem ucelil publikovanou literaturu, kterou jsem doplnil o další informace získané studiem archívních zdrojů.
