Abstract

Author: Klára Korčáková Title: A case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after osteosynthesis of the tibia. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to create a theoretical background on fracture of fibula and tibial osteosynthesis as a part of the theoretical framework. The special part focuses on establishing a case report of a patient with this diagnosis. Methods: The special part of this bachelor thesis was created during continuous one-month practice at Medicentrum Praha from January 9th to February 3rd , 2023. Based on the patient's medical history and initial examination, goals of therapy were established and 10 therapeutic sessions were conducted, concluded with an exit examination and assessment of the effectiveness of performed therapy. Results: In the general part of the thesis, crucial theoretical background was processed, and in the specific part, improvements were achieved in most of the measured values.
