Abstract

Rigorózní práce Bed ich Hrozný a Orientální ústav v Praze za pomoci Národního fondu Masarykova se zabývá životem a dílem staroorientálního filologa a historika, významné postavy eskoslovenského spole enského a odborného života. Práce je p edevším soust ed na k založení a prvním desetiletím existence Orientálního ústavu v Praze. Orientální ústav fungoval de facto minimáln již od roku 1920, a de iure až od roku 1922. Otázkou však z stává, nakolik byla napln na litera zákona, nebo ustavující sch ze, týkající se z ízení Orientálního ústavu, se uskute nila až 1. b ezna 1928. Dále se rigorózní práce soust edí na aktivity spojené s Orientálním ústavem v Praze, nap . Národním fondem Masarykovým, ze kterého byl mj. spolufinancován archeologický výzkum Bed icha Hrozného v Sýrii, na pahorcích Šejch Sa ad a Tell Erfád a v Turecku na pahorku Kültepe. Archeologické nálezy Bed icha Hrozného dovezené do Prahy se nám do sou asné doby nedochovaly v plném po tu. Když se staly sou ástí (s výjimkou kappadockých tabulek) Národní galerie v Praze, byly provizorn uloženy na zámku v Benešov nad Plou nicí, kde nebyla zajišt na jejich maximální bezpe nost. V prosinci 1969 byla ást sbírky Bed icha Hrozného zni ena požárem na zámku v Benešova nad Plou nicí - zasažen byl p edevším dokladový materiál, pocházející z Hrozného p...

The rigorous work Bed ich Hrozný and the Oriental Institute in Prague with help of the National Masaryk Fund is about life and work of the old-oriental philologist and historian, important personality of Czechoslovakian social and academic life. The work describes mostly the foundation of the Oriental Institute in Prague and the first decades of its existence. The Oriental Institute has existed de facto since 1920, and de iure since 1922. However, the question remains, how much the letter of law was fulfilled. As the constitutive meeting, concerning foundation of the Oriental institute took place on March 1st , 1928. It also deals with the related activities such as the National Masaryk Fund, from which the Oriental Institute was co-financed, or the archaeological research of Bed ich Hrozný in Syria - tell Sheykh Sa ad and Tell Erfad and in Turkey - tell Kültepe. All of the archaeological findings of Bed ich Hrozný, which he brought to Prague, were not preserved till nowadays. When the findings came to possession of the National Gallery in Prague (except the Cappadocian tablets), they were provisionally deposited in the castle in Benešov nad Plou nicí.
