Problematika infekčního aerosolu v ordinaci dentální hygienistky

Abstract

Introduction: Problematics (awareness) of infectious aerosol is a current topic that dental hygienists encounter everyday. Infectious aerosols are vectors for spreading of many diseases. Infectious aerosoles in dental hygienist's clinic are created by many specialized procedures done in oral cavity of the patient but also by simply breathing and talking. However the protection from created infectious aerosoles is not adequate in many dental clinics. Therefore every dental hygienist should protect themselves from infectious aerosoles and try to minimize its concentration. Aim: To find out what amount of infectious aerosoles is created during common procedures administered (carried out) in dental hygienist's clinic. To explore possible ways of lowering concentrations of infectious aerosoles that are effective and can be used routinely. And furthermore to determine if pandemic of SARS-CoV-2 virus influence usage of protective equipment and rate of following of the hygienic protective plan in dental hygienists clinic. And finally to create informative pamphlet displaying basic protective measures. Souhrn Úvod: Problematika infekčního aerosolu je aktuální téma, se kterým se dentální hygienistky setkávají každý den. Prostřednictvím aerosolů se přenáší mnohá onemocnění. V ordinaci dentální hygienistky vznikají aerosoly nejen při odborných výkonech v dutině ústní, ale i pouhým dýcháním a mluvením. Ochrana před vznikajícím infekčním aerosolem není ve velkém množství ordinací dentálních hygienistek adekvátní. Proto by se každá dentální hygienistka měla před aerosoly chránit a snažit se jejich koncentraci minimalizovat. Cíl: Zjistit jaké množství infekčního aerosolu vzniká při běžných činnostech vykonávaných v ordinaci dentální hygienistky. Najít možnosti snížení koncentrace infekčních aerosolů, které jsou účinné a použitelné v běžné praxi. Dále je cílem zjistit, zda pandemie viru SARS-CoV-2 ovlivnila používání ochranných prostředků a hygienický řád ordinace dentálních hygienistek. Nakonec vytvořit leták s obsahem základních ochranných opatření. Metodika: Byl odebrán infekční aerosol vznikající během ošetření piezoelekrickým ultrazvukovým přístrojem metodou spádu na otevřené Petriho misky s krevním agarem ve vzdálenostech 40 centimetrů a 1,5 metru od úst pacienta.
