Trans lidé na autistickém spektru

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with a co-occurrence of trans identity and autism, which has been a subject of academic interest in recent years. Its aim was to find out how these people relate to their dual diagnosis, what are their experiences with professionals, and whether they relate to autistic or trans communities. The theoretical part addresses three areas. The first part introduces the basic concepts related to trans issues and the process of transition in Czechia that most trans people go through. It also mentions the sources of stress that have psychological impacts on these people. The second section defines autism, introduces the concept of neurodiversity and briefly mentions gender differences in autism. The third part then describes the findings on the co-occurrence of autism and trans identity, the theories in consideration and the recommendations of the clinical guideline. The empirical part describes the conducted qualitative research. Two online interviews, one unstructured and one structured, were done with each of the three respondents. Práce se zaměřuje na souběh trans identity a autismu, který je v posledních letech předmětem odborného zájmu. Jejím cílem bylo dozvědět se, jak se tito lidé vztahují ke své dvojí odlišnosti, jaké mají v souvislosti s tím zkušenosti s odborníky a zda se vztahují a autistickým či trans komunitám. Teoretická část se zabývá třemi oblastmi. V první části seznamuje se základními pojmy spojené s trans tématem a s procesem tranzice, kterou většina trans lidí podstupuje. Dále zde také zmiňuje zdroje stresu, které mají psychické dopady na tyto lidi. Druhá část definuje autismu, přibližuje koncept neurodiverzity a krátce zmiňuje genderové rozdíly v projevech. Třetí část pak popisuje zjištěné informace o souběhu autismu a trans identity, zvažované teorie a doporučení vzniklého klinického guidelinu. V empirické části je popsán realizovaný kvalitativní výzkum. S každým ze třech získaných účastníků byly provedeny dva online rozhovory, jeden nestrukturovaný a druhý strukturovaný. Rozhovory byly přepsány a následně zpracovány tematickou analýzou. Výsledky pak seznamují s pěti tématy, které byly v rozhovorech pojmenovány.
