Metody: Výzkumná část práce byla za účelem splnění cílů rozdělena na dvě části. Za prvé bylo pro zjištění dopadů bosé turistiky na lidské zdraví a popis profilu bosého turisty využito dotazníkového šetření. Výzkum probíhal 11 týdnů a zúčastnilo se ho 230 respondentů, z čehož 147 (64 %) jsou aktivní bosí turisté a 83 (36 %) jsou respondenti, kteří se o turistiku naboso pouze zajímají. Za druhé byly provedeny dva polostrukturované rozhovory - s barefoot fyzioterapeutkou o dopadech turistiky naboso na lidské zdraví a s metodikem bosé chůze o vývoji a postavení této formy turistiky. Výsledky: 64 % oslovených bosých turistů pociťuje v souvislosti s turistikou naboso celkové zlepšení zdraví. 63 % dotazovaných bosých turistů nazouvá boty z důvodu chladu až při teplotách pod 10 řC. 13 % dokonce až pří teplotách pod -5 řC. 67 % tázaných bosých turistů preferuje délku bosých výletů do 10 km. 78 % oslovených bosých turistů provozuje bosou turistiku jen indivituálně (ne v rámci spolku). 53 % dotazovaných bosých turistů kombinuje bosou chůzi s barefoot obuví. 93 % respondentů, kteří označili povrch lesní cesty za nepříjemný, se bosé turistice aktivně nevěnují. Title: Barefoot hiking in the Czech Republic Objectives: The aim of this work is to assess the possibilities and position of barefoot hiking in the Czech Republic. Methods: The research part of the work is divided into two parts in order to meet the objectives. The first is to determine the impacts of barefoot hiking on human health and to describe the profile of a barefoot hiker using a questionnaire survey. The research lasted 11 weeks and involved 230 respondents, of which 147 (64%) are active barefoot tourists and 83 (36%) are respondents who are only interested in barefoot hiking. Secondly, two semi-structured interviews were conducted - with a barefoot physiotherapist about the effects of barefoot hiking on human health and with a barefoot walking methodology specialist about the development and position of this form of hiking.
