Kvalita života dospělých osob před a po implantaci kochleárního implantátu

Abstract

Název: Kvalita života dospělých osob před a po implantaci kochleárního implantátu Cíle: Cílem práce bylo zjišťovat míru spokojenosti života s kochleárním implantátem (KI) u postlingválně neslyšících osob, kteří přišli o sluch již po nabytí řečových schopností - tj. po 7. roce života. Metody: Výzkum byl uskutečněn prostřednictvím vlastní anonymní polostrukturované ankety, která se skládala dohromady z 31 otázek. Anketa byla posléze poskytnuta skrze webové stránky a rozeslána i za pomocí e-mailových adres, přičemž ji dohromady vyplnilo 29 dospělých respondentů. Výsledky: Převážná část (52 %) dotazovaných se shodla, že jim KI poskytnul stejný nebo větší přínos, než sami očekávali. Zároveň hodnotili slyšení a porozumění v jednotlivých oblastech známkou 2 - tedy, že ve všech oblastech došlo ke zlepšení. Valná většina respondentů nepotřebovala ani delší čas na promýšlení o implantaci a taktéž na prvním nastavování se setkávala s dobrými či spíše dobrými pocity ze slyšení. Pravidelně sportující respondenti uvedli, že vykonávali stejný sport i před implantací. S ohledem na epidemiologickou situaci nadpoloviční většina (93 %) respondentů uvedla, že se setkávají se snížením porozumění druhým osobám, které používají roušku. Title: Quality of life in adult users of cochlear implant before and after the implantation Objectives: The aim of the study was to determine the degree of life satisfaction with a cochlear implant (CI) in postlingually deaf people, who lost their hearing after acquiring speech skills - i.e. after the 7th year of life. Methods: The research was realized by its own anonymous semi-structured survey, which contained 31 questions in total. Then was the survey was provided through a website and sent out using e-mail addresses, with a total of 29 adult respondents completing it. Results: The predominant majority (52 %) of respondents agreed, that CI provided them with the same or better benefit, than they themselves expected. At the same time, they assessed the hearing and understanding in each area with a score of 2 - so that, there was improvement in all areas. The predominant majority of respondents did not need more time to think about implantation and also get together good or rather good feelings from hearing at the first setup. Regular sports respondents stated that they had performed the same sport before implantation.
