Argumentieren und Debattieren als Mittel der Entwicklung der kommunikativen Kompetenz

Abstract

Předkládaná rigorózní práce se zabývá tématem argumentace a debatování ve výuce němčiny jako cizího jazyka na středních školách a gymnáziích. Ve své teoretické části zkoumá pomocí dotazníkové metody a metody osobních rozhovorů postoj českých žáků a učitelů k přínosu a smyslu výuky argumentace na těchto školách. Autor rovněž analyzuje zprostředkovávání komunikativních kompetencí, zejména argumentace, v učebnicích němčiny jako cizího jazyka. Výzkumy a analýzy ukazují, že jak učitelé, tak žáci vidí ve výuce argumentace smysl nejen pro školu, ale i pro "praktický" život. Zároveň se ukazuje, že zmiňované učebnice vykazují při zprostředkovávání komunikativních kompetencí nedostatky, zejména co se pragmatických kompetencí týká. Mimo to práce představuje dva projekty, které u žáků ve velké míře podporují rozvoj komunikativních kompetencí. Jedná se o projekt "Jugend debattiert international" (mezinárodní debaty mládeže), který žáky učí umění debaty, a jazykovou zkoušku DSD II, která ověřuje jazykové kompetence žáků na úrovni B2/C1 dle Společného evropského referenčního rámce pro jazyky. V praktické části autor představuje některé metody a některá cvičení, které/která lze dobře použít pro přípravu žáků na výše zmíněné projekty a k intenzivnějšímu rozvoji jejich komunikativních schopností a dovedností....

The presented rigorous thesis deals with the topic of argumentation and debate in the teaching of German as a foreign language in high schools and gymnasiums. In its theoretical part, it examines the attitude of Czech pupils and teachers to the contribution and meaning of teaching argumentation in schools using questionnaires and personal interviews. The author also analyses the mediation of communicative competences, especially argumentation, in textbooks for German as a foreign language. The research and analysis show that both teachers and pupils see good reasons to study argumentation for both school and "practical" life. At the same time, it is revealed that the mentioned textbooks show shortcomings in the mediation of communicative competences, in particular in regard to pragmatic competences. In addition to this, the work presents two projects, which largely support the development of communicative competences for pupils: "Jugend debattiert international" (International youth debates), which teaches pupils the art of debating, and the DSD II language exam, which verifies the language competences of pupils at the B2/C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
