Diabetes mellitus v jezdeckém sportu v ČR

Abstract

Název: Diabetes mellitus v jezdeckém sportu v ČR Cíle: Cílem rešeršní části práce bylo popsat problematiku onemocnění diabetes mellitus a vlivu sportu na kompenzaci onemocnění, následně pak vyhledat dostupné zdroje o úzce zaměřeném tématu - vlivu jezdectví na diabetes mellitus, a zjištěné poznatky zpracovat v přehledné formě do první (rešeršní) části práce. Druhá (výzkumná) část měla za úkol pomocí dotazníků a rozhovorů zmapovat situaci u pacientů s diabetem v ČR, kteří aktivně provozují jezdecký sport. V tomto případě šlo o přezkoumání jejich subjektivních pocitů. Hlavním cílem bylo prokázat pozitivní vliv jezdectví na diabetes mellitus, popř. zjistit, co více ovlivňuje hladinu BG (blood glucose) v krvi, zda stres či fyzická zátěž. Dále se práce zaměřila na otázku povědomí veřejnosti a blízkého okolí o managementu onemocnění a také o první pomoci. Metody: První část práce byla zpracována formou literární rešerše, pro kterou byly hledány odborné články a jiná literatura především na elektronických informačních portálech (Web of Science apod.) Pro druhou (výzkumnou) část byl, jako hlavní metoda pro sběr dat, zvolen dotazník (přes web vyplnto.cz) rozeslaný přes Českou jezdeckou federaci (ČJF) a další jezdecké portály v ČR (jezdci.cz, jezdectvi.cz, jednotlivé regionální oblasti ČJF,…). Title: Diabetes mellitus in Equistrian Sport in Czech Republic Objectives: The aim of the literature review part of the thesis was to give an introduction to the issue of diabetes mellitus as well as the effect of sport on the decompensation of the disease, to search for available sources on a narrowly focused topic - the impact of horse riding on diabetes mellitus, and to process the findings in a clear form into the first (literature review) part of the work. The goal of the second (research) part was to map, with the use of questionnaires and interviews, the situation of diabetes patients in the Czech Republic who do equestrian sport actively. In the case study their subjective feelings were reviewed. The main aim was to prove the positive impact of horse riding on diabetes mellitus, or more precisely to find out if it is stress or physical exertion that has a greater effect on the blood glucose (BG) level. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the issue of public awareness of disease management as well as first aid.
