Historické trendy v péči o umírající v kontextu hospicové péče

Abstract

Diplomová práce přináší výsledky výzkumného šetření, které se zabývá přínosem aktivizačních metod v Centru denních služeb v Čerčanech, jakožto zástupci aktivizační péče pro nevyléčitelně nemocné klienty z lůžkového hospice. Cílem je představit toto zařízení, které pracuje s touto specifickou skupinou nemocných a současně zmapovat benefity a limity této formy péče z pohledu zaměstnanců hospice v Čerčanech a jejich klientů. Teoretická část diplomové práce se zabývá nejen vymezením základních pojmů v paliativní péči, ale jsou zde uvedeny i aktivizační metody, které lze použít tam kde je poskytována péče nevyléčitelně nemocným. Výzkumná část se věnuje výzkumnému šetření, které je prováděno mezi zaměstnanci hospice a současně mezi jeho klienty. Přináší jejich úhel pohledu na to, jaké benefity a limity tato forma péče přináší. Diplomová práce využívá metodu kvalitativního výzkumu. K získávání informací je použita metoda zúčastněného pozorování, polostrukturovaného rozhovoru a skupinové diskuze. Výsledky jsou zpracovány formou zakotvené teorie. The diploma thesis brings the results of the research which deals with the benefits of activation methods in the Center of Daily Services in Čerčany, as representatives of activation care for terminally ill clients from the inpatient hospice. The aim is to introduce this facility, which works with this specific group of patients and at the same time to map the benefits and limits of this form of care from the point of view of hospice employees in Čerčany and their clients. The theoretical part of the thesis deals not only with the definition of basic terms in palliative care, but also with activation methods that can be used where care is incurable for the terminally ill. The research part is devoted to the research, which is carried out among the hospice employees and its clients. It also brings their point of view of the benefits and limits which this form of care brings. The thesis uses the method of qualitative research. To obtain information there were used the method of participant observation, the semi-structured interview and the group discussion. The results are processed in the form of grounded theory.
