Abstract

Title: Fair play and the rules of sport Objectives: The main aim of this work is to define the concept of fair play in terms of formalism, and its detailed explanation, explanation of related concepts while using examples from practice, and subsequent critique of formalism in comparison with other concepts of fair play. Methods: The methods of compilation, analysis and synthesis were used. We used the compilation method to summarize the theme based on available literature. The method of analysis was used to understand concepts closely related to fair play as formalism and the method of synthesis to understand the whole theme through the synthesis of the explained parts. Furthermore, we used the method of comparison, for comparing fair play as formalism with other concepts of fair play. Results: The theme of fair play and its relationship to rules was explained. Název: Fair play a pravidla ve sportu Cíle: Hlavním cílem této práce je vymezení pojmu fair play z pohledu formalismu a jeho podrobné vysvětlení, explanace souvisejících pojmů za využití příkladů z praxe a následná kritika formalismu na základě komparace s ostatními pojetími fair play. Metody: V práci byly použity metody kompilace, analýzy a syntézy. Metoda kompilace byla využita pro shrnutí zkoumaného problému na základě dostupné literatury, analýza pro vysvětlení úzce souvisejících pojmů s problematikou fair play z pohledu formalismu a syntézy pro pochopení celé problematiky na základě vysvětlených dílčích částí. Uplatnila se i metoda komparace, především v závěrečném shrnutí fair play z pohledu formalismu s ostatními pojetími. Výsledky: V práci byla vysvětlena problematika fair play a jeho vztah k pravidlům. Byly identifikovány nedostatky fair play z pohledu formalismu na základě porovnání tohoto pojetí s ostatními pojetími fair play.
