Cílem předkládané diplomové práce je prezentace problematiky hypotečního bankovnictví a hypotečního úvěru v České republice, jeho historie a současnosti. Z práce by měla vyplynout realistická projekce budoucího stavu a možností této oblasti specializovaného bankovnictví a také určitá doporučení směřující k nápravě stávajících nedostatků.
