Milíčův dům a Přemysl Pitter

Abstract

Tématem této bakalářské práce je Milíčův dům, jeho začátky, jeho provoz a fungování a další činnosti spjaté s tímto útulkem pro potřebné děti a s Přemyslem Pittrem, bez kterého by tento dům nikdy nestál. Cílem této bakalářské práce je přiblížení situace v pedagogice a výchově v souvislosti s Milíčovým domem mezi světovými válkami a po nich a seznámení se s životem a životním osudem inspirující osobnosti, kterou Přemysl Pitter bez pochyby byl. Milíčův dům samozřejmě není jediným úspěchem tohoto skvělého pedagoga a vychovatele, a proto se v této práci věnuji i dalším jeho vydařeným aktivitám, mezi které patří ozdravovna v Mýtě u Rokycan a akce Zámky. Všechny tyto Pittrovy aktivity zlepšily nebo dokonce zachránily mnoho nejen dětských životů. Také se věnuji několika z jeho četných spolupracovníků a přátel. Závěrem této práce uvádím jeden z mnoha silných příběhů vystihující situaci okolo Milíčova domu a Přemysla Pittra.

The topic of this thesis is the Miličův House, its beginnings, functioning, and further activities connected to this house, which served as a shelter for children in need. This thesis also presents the life of Přemysl Pitter, the man who played the key role in establishing this house. The objective of this thesis is to portray the situation of education at the Miličův House during the World War I & II as well as to show the inspiring life of Přemysl Pitter. The Miličův House isn't, however, the only great accomplishment of Mr. Pitter therefore this piece focuses on his other successful projects such as the infirmary in Mýto u Rokycan and Action Zámky. All these institutions not only improved, but also saved lives of numerous children and adults. Furthermore, this thesis includes accounts of his colleagues and friends. The end of this thesis presents one of the strong stories portraying the life at the Miličův House and the story of Přemysl Pitter.
