Russkije i češskije narodnyje tradicii v period Roždestva

Abstract

Cílem této práce je analýza a popis základních svátků kalendářního roku v zimním období, porovnání lidových tradic, rituálů a slovanských náboženských představ v období od Adventu po Tři krále v české a ruské kultuře. Práce rovněž analyzuje historické pozadí přijetí křesťanství, roli a vliv křesťanské církve na vznik svátků a tradic s nimi spojených. Dále se práce zabývá srovnáním českých a ruských tradic s cílem určit shodné a odlišné prvky. Pozornost je věnována Vánocům, Adventu, Novému roku, svátku Tři králů i dalším.

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and detailed description of the basic holidays of the civil year in winter period of time. It also contains the study of the most popular folk traditions, religious rituals and beliefs of the Slavs from Advent till Christmastide or Christmas season. The historical background of the adoption of Christianity in the territory of the Czech Republic and Russia and the way how Christian church influenced on the origin of fundamental traditions and rituals has also been taken into consideration. There is also a description of the way the major Slavonic holidays are held. The thesis deals with such religious and secular holidays as Christmas, Advent, New Year, Christmas season, Epiphany and other traditional holidays.
