Kolínský Sokol a František Kmoch

Abstract

Práce s názvem Kolínský Sokol a František Kmoch se zabývá historií a činností kolínského Sokola a životem, dílem a odkazem Františka Kmocha. Práce nejprve mapuje vznik Sokola jako nově založené organizace v Praze a Kolíně, dále pak historii a činnost sokolské jednoty Sokola. Jedna z kapitol je věnována Župě Tyršově. Následující kapitoly informují o životu a díle osobnosti Františka Kmocha. Dále se zabývají jeho odkazem. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována Městské hudbě Františka Kmocha. Závěrečná kapitola uzavírá práci pomocí současného největšího odkazu věnovanému tomuto hudebníku, a to festivalu dechových hudeb Kmochův Kolín. The Abstrakt The thesis named Sokol of Kolín and František Kmoch deals with the history and the activities of Sokol in Kolín and with the life, work and legacy of František Kmoch. First of all, the thesis traces the establishment of Sokol as a newly founded organization in Prague and Kolín and subsequently it studies the history and the activity of Sokol. One of the chapters is dedicated to the župa of Tyrš's. The following chapters give information about the life and work of the personality of František Kmoch. Further, his legacy is dealt with. Special attention is drawn to The city music of František Kmoch's. The closing chapter concludes the thesis with the greatest contemporary legacy dedicated to this musician, namely the festival of brass music Kmoch's Kolin.
