Botanická zahrada hl. m. Prahy

Abstract

Souhrn Botanická zahrada hl. m. Prahy je jednou z nejstarších botanických zahrad v České republice. Tato práce se zabývá jejím vývojem a současnou podobou. V práci jsou zdokumentována i území, která návštěvníci běžně nenavštíví. Zmíněna je i Unie botanických zahrad a její smysl v České republice. V další části nalezneme informace o územích, která nejsou přímo součástí Botanické zahrady, ale pouze pod její správou. Přiblíženy jsou projekty, na kterých se Botanická zahrada podílí či je sama utváří. Také jsou zde uvedeny zástupci z živočišné říše, kteří jsou součástí skleníkových expozic.

Prague's Botanical Garden is one of the oldest botanical gardens in the Czech republic. This work covers its historical development as well as current state. In the work there are also documented areas where visitors are usually forbidden to enter. The work contains a part about the Union of Botanical Gardens and its purpose in the Czech republic. In the other parts we can find some information about areas, which are not parts of Prague's Botanical Garden itself, but they are under its administration. In addition there are described projects in which the garden takes part or which has the garden established itself. Finally, there are depicted animal species which live in garden's greenhouse expositions.
