Podoba attachmentu u potomků matek se schizofrenií

Abstract

Cílem práce je nalezení odpovědi na otázku, zda má duševní onemocnění matky, konkrétně schizofrenie, vliv na připoutání dítěte v dospělosti. V teoretické části nejprve přibližuji východiska a základní pojmy teorie attachmentu, popisuji vybrané metody užívané k měření citové vazby a charakterizuji jednotlivé typy attachmentu či stavů mysli ve vztahu k attachmentu. Dále podávám přehled stěžejních informací o schizofrenii a o specifických tématech výchovy dětí matkami se schizofrenií. Zpracovávám také téma attachmentu u dětí těchto žen. V empirické části na základě stanoveného výzkumného cíle zjišťuji podobu a typ připoutání u dětí matek se schizofrenií a jejich vývoj v čase. Zajímaly mě také strategie vyrovnávání se s nemocí matky. Hlavní metodou výzkumu bylo Adult Attachment Interview (AAI), dále jsem administrovala také Škálu prožívání blízkých vztahů (ECR) a Tématicko apercepční test (TAT). Z výsledků výzkumu vyplývá, že u dětí matek se schizofrenií se výrazně častěji vyvíjí úzkostné připoutání, konkrétně úzkostně vyhýbavé a dezorientované/dezorganizované. Matčino onemocnění schizofrenií má negativní vliv na podobu vztahu s jejím dítětem.

This thesis explores the influence of mother's mental disorder, specifically schizophrenia, on child's attachment in adulthood. In the theoretic part, basic terms of attachment theory are introduced. I describe selected methods of attachment assessment and the associated attachment types or states of mind with respect to attachment. Further on, key information on schizophrenia is presented with an emphasis on impact of schizophrenia on mother - child relationship. The following empiric part explores the form and type of attachment of children with mothers who suffer from schizophrenia and its evolution in time. I was also interested in different strategies the children employ to cope with their mother's illness. Adult Attachment Interview (AAI) is the primary method used in the research, complemented by Experiences in Close Relationships Scale (ECR) and Thematic Apperception Test (TAT). The research results show that attachment of children with schizophrenic mothers tend to be anxious, specifically anxious-avoidant and disoriented-disorganized, more often than in the general population. Mother's illness thus has negative effects on child's attachment.
