Vliv cizího jazyka na komunikaci v bilingvní výuce matematiky

Abstract

This work refers to the topic of bilingual mathematics education. It is focused on monitoring the communicational influences of teacher's and pupil's language, categorization of the disturbing effects and possibilities, how the teacher should prepare for them and how to solve them. A significant role plays the reflection of the teacher, as the results were done on the basis of action research during teaching in England, Germany and the Czech Republic. The teaching was realized in a second language as well for the teacher as for the pupils. The teacher was at the same time experimenter as well as author of this work. The theoretical part results from dealing with scientific literature about bilingualism, bilingual education, methodology of CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning), relations between first language, language of mathematics and the foreign language. In the practical part an analysis of lessons performed in mathematics with the subject of probability is carried out. The teaching was focused on playing a game with dice and deciding whether the game is fair or not. The lessons were audio taped and transcriptions of the spoken language were made. Vliv cizího jazyka na komunikaci v bilingvní výuce matematiky Práce se vztahuje k tématu bilingvního matematického vyučování. Zaměřuje se na sledování vlivu jazyka učitele a žáka na komunikaci, kategorizaci rušivých jevů a zlepšení připravenosti učitele se s nimi při vyučování vyrovnat. Významnou roli v hodnocení výsledků experimentů prováděných během vyučování v Anglii, Německu a České republice hraje učitelova (sebe)reflexe. Výuka byla realizována v cizím jazyce jak pro učitele, tak pro žáky. Experimentátor je zároveň učitelem a autorem této práce. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty výsledky studia literatury se zaměřením na bilingvismus, bilingvní vyučování, metody výuky v cizím jazyce a vztahy mezi jazykem, jazykem matematiky a cizím jazykem. V praktické části je provedena analýza výuky matematiky na téma pravděpodobnosti. Výuka byla zaměřena na hraní her s kostkami a rozhodování, zda je hra spravedlivá nebo ne. Vyučování bylo nahrané na audio kazety a části mluvené řeči byly přepsány do písemné podoby. Byla provedena analýza jazyka výuky, a to jak žáků, tak učitele. Dále byly rozebrány komunikační interference a poměr komunikace učitele a žáků. Byly vyhodnoceny výsledky experimentů z hlediska výzkumu a z hlediska výuky.
