Čtenářská popularita postav v Harry Potterovi u žáků 6. ročníků ZŠ a studentů 1. roč. SŠ

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou dětského čtenářství a problematikou vlivu populárního díla na interpretaci textu. Na základě výzkumného šetření se snaží odhalit, jaký vliv má popularita díla J. K. Rowlingové a jeho postav na vnímání konkrétního úryvku, a to u žáků 6. tříd základní školy a 1. ročníku střední školy. Definovaná problematika je sledována skrze vnímání literárních postav v úryvku; práce především zkoumá, jak dětští čtenáři vnímají hierarchii postav v úryvku, na základě čeho si vytvářejí vztahy k literárním postavám a jak vnímají postavu Harryho Pottera v úryvku. Na základě těchto zjištění pak vyvozuje, zda dětští čtenáři dokáží vnímat text nezávisle, či zda jsou při interpretaci ovlivněni celkovou popularitou díla a jeho postav. Výsledná zjištění jsou také výchozím bodem pro posuzování díla J. K. Rowlingové z hlediska jeho přínosu pro výuku českého jazyka a literární výchovy na základní a střední škole. Výzkumné šetření ukázalo, že dětští čtenáři jsou poměrně výrazně ovlivněni literárním dílem o Harry Potterovi a jeho popularitou, a to nejen při vnímání literárních postav, ale také při interpretaci konkrétního úryvku. Z těchto zjištění vyplývá, že by mohlo být přínosné jak pro vyučující, tak pro samotné žáky/studenty věnovat se tomuto dílu během výuky českého jazyka a literatury.

The diploma thesis is focused on the problems of children readership and its main aim is to reveal the influence of the literary work that is very popular among readers on the interpretation of concrete literary text. By the means of research it tries to detect how the work Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling and its popularity affect the perception of literary text with respect to pupils of the 6th grade in primary school and students of 1st year in secondary school. The defined aim is studied mainly through reader's perception of literary characters in the concrete literary text; the main focus is aimed at perception of character hierarchy, creation of relationships with characters and perception of the main character of the work Harry Potter. Thanks to these findings it is possible to say whether the children readers are able to perceive the concrete literary text independently on the work by J. K. Rowling and its popularity or whether they are constantly under its influence and are not able to free themselves from its dominance. According to final discoveries it is possible to approach the work within the context of literary classes and overall literary education.
