Zvyšování kvality života seniorů v zařízení sociálních služeb

Abstract

Ve své práci se zabývám stářím a kvalitu života seniorů v zařízení sociálních služeb. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny fyzické, psychické a sociální změny, které s sebou stáří nese. Dále se zabývám možnostmi sociální péče o seniory a to především s ohledem na trávení volného času a aktivizační činnosti. Praktická část práce je věnovaná domovu pro seniory Prahy 2, ve kterém pracuji. Cílem je zjistit, jak kvalitní život naši klienti v zařízení prožívají a pokusit se najít řešení, jak jejich kvalitu života zvýšit. V závěru práce jsou uvedeny návrhy, které jsou již uvedeny do praxe a návrhy, na jejichž realizaci budeme nadále pracovat.

My thesis deals with the property characteristics of old age and the general well- being of seniors living in senior care centers. The theoretical section presents an overview of the physical, mental and social changes associated with ageing and old age, and analyzes senior and elder care options available in assisted homes and care centers, in particular in view of the leisure-time and activation resources. The practical section is devoted to my research carried out in the Senior Care Center in Prague 2, where I work. I aimed to evaluate the quality of life of our clients and I submit several proposals on how to improve it. The concluding part of the thesis outlines improvements that have already been introduced in our senior care center in response to my research and the improvements that we are working to put into practice in the future.
