Tematizace smrti ve výuce z pohledu učitelů na 1. stupni ZŠ

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of death and it's inclusion in primary schools from the perspective of primary school teachers. Death is an inevitable part of all human lifes, but it is still a very sensitive and often taboo topic in our society. The purpose of this thesis was to determine teachers opinions towards discussing death in the environment of primary schools and find out the reasons and opportunities for opening this theme. Also this thesis tries to determine barriers that teaches feel, and explore their experiences and preparedness for opening this topic with children in primary schools. The theoretical part introduces the concept of death from several cognitive development perceptions, pedagogical perception and introduces some of the main organisations in Czech Republic, that focuses on care of dying people and their close ones. The empirical part is based on quantitative research conducted by a questionnaire. The collected data are analysed separately question by question. The findings provide insight into the ways teachers approach the topic of death, and the ways they open this topic in teaching in primary schools. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem smrti ve výuce na prvním stupni základních škol. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda učitelé prvního stupně pracují ve výuce s tématem smrti, za jakých podmínek se tématu věnují a zda znají nějaké materiály, které mohou k výuce využít. Práce bude rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části se budu blíže věnovat vývojovým aspektům vnímání smrti, přehledu institucí, které se se zabývají tématem smrti a péčí o umírající, a analýze dostupných materiálů. V praktické části budu kvantitativní metodou pomocí dotazníku zkoumat zkušenosti prvostupňových učitelů s tématem smrti, způsoby, jakými ve výuce pracují s tématem smrti a zvláštní pozornost bude věnována dostupným materiálům, které ve výuce učitelé využívají.
