Pohraniční stráž v muzejnictví: od Muzea Sboru národní bezpečnosti a vojsk ministerstva vnitra k dnešním expozicím

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the presentation of national border protection and the Border Guard in museum exhibitions. The main focus is on current exhibitions dedicated to this topic. The research on museum exhibitions is based on the method of museum analysis. The aim of the thesis is to determine how the history of the Border Guard is interpreted and presented to visitors in these exhibitions. This thesis also shows the development of the Museum of the National Security Corps and the Ministry of the Interior Troops, which is compared with the Czech Police Museum. While the original museum served an ideological purpose under the previous regime, today it takes a neutral stance on the subject. Nor do the other museum exhibits devoted to the topic of the Border Guard offer any furter interpretation. They often focus on the historical context and the technical aspects of te guarding of the state border. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá prezentací ochrany státních hranic a Pohraniční stráže v muzejních expozicích. Hlavní pozornost je věnována současným expozicím, které se tomuto tématu věnují. Výzkum muzejních expozic vychází z metody muzejní analýzy. Cílem práce je zjistit, jakým způsobem jsou dějiny Pohraniční stráže v expozicích interpretovány a prezentovány návštěvníkům. Součástí práce je také vývoj Muzea Sboru národní bezpečnosti a vojsk ministerstva vnitra a porovnání jeho expozice se současným Muzeem Policie České republiky. Zatímco v minulém režimu toto muzeum plnilo ideologickou funkci, v současnosti se k tématu staví neutrálně. Ani ostatní dnešní expozice věnující se Pohraniční stráži nenabízí větší interpretace.
