Vliv edukace a aktivizace seniorů na kvalitu jejich života v kontextu denních stacionářů

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou edukace a aktivizačních činností seniorů v prostředí denního stacionáře a jejich vlivem na subjektivně vnímanou kvalitu života seniorů. Cílem práce je analyzovat přínos vzdělávacích a aktivizačních programů pro kvalitu života seniorů a identifikovat možné bariéry, které mohou ovlivňovat jejich účast na těchto aktivitách. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na charakteristiku procesu stárnutí, kvalitu života seniorů, systém sociálních služeb a význam edukace a aktivizace ve stáří. Součástí teoretické části je také vymezení role denních stacionářů jako jedné z forem podpory seniorů v prostředí sociálních služeb. Empirická část práce je založena na kvalitativním výzkumu realizovaném v denním stacionáři ve městě Štětí. Data byla získána prostřednictvím polostrukturovaného rozhovoru se seniory navštěvujícími zařízení a s pracovnicí stacionáře. Výzkum byl doplněn metodou pozorování, která umožnila zachytit průběh aktivizačních a vzdělávacích aktivit v přirozeném prostředí zařízení. Výsledky výzkumu ukazují, že edukace a aktivizační programy mají podle respondentů převážně pozitivní vliv na kvalitu života seniorů. This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of educational and activation activities for seniors in a day care center environment and their influence on the perceived quality of life of older adults. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the contribution of educational and activation programs to the quality of life of seniors and to identify possible barriers that may affect their participation in these activities. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the characteristics of the ageing process, the quality of life of seniors, the system of social services and the importance of education and activation in older age. It also defines the role of day care centers as one of the forms of support for seniors within the social services system. The empirical part of the thesis is based on qualitative research conducted in a day care center in the town of Štětí. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with senior clients of the facility and with a staff member of the center. The research was complemented by the method of observation, which made it possible to capture the course of activation and educational activities in the natural environment of the facility.
