Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of communication between school and family in the period after a child enters the first year of primary school. It focuses on the analysis of communication strategies between teachers and parents. The aim of the thesis was to determine whether open and partnership-oriented communication between teachers and parents positively influences the adaptation process of children and their educational results. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the approach of current parents to raising children and the importance of the method of communication in the family. It also describes communication processes in the school environment and the principles of cooperation between school and family. Factors influencing the effectiveness of cooperation and the principles of conducting constructive dialogue are also outlined. The research part of the thesis uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou komunikace mezi školou a rodinou v období po nástupu dítěte do prvního ročníku základní školy. Zaměřuje se na analýzu komunikačních strategií mezi učiteli a rodiči. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda otevřená a partnersky orientovaná komunikace mezi učiteli a rodiči pozitivně ovlivňuje adaptační proces dětí a jejich vzdělávací výsledky. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část popisuje přístup současných rodičů k výchově dětí a důležitost způsobu komunikace v rodině. Dále popisuje komunikační procesy ve školním prostředí a principy spolupráce školy a rodiny. Jsou zde také nastíněny faktory ovlivňující efektivitu spolupráce a zásady vedení konstruktivního dialogu. Výzkumná část práce využívá kombinaci kvantitativních a kvalitativních přístupů. Sběr dat probíhal prostřednictvím dotazníků a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Cílem výzkumu bylo popsat nejčastější komunikační strategie mezi učiteli a rodiči, identifikovat hlavní aspekty jejich funkční či dysfunkční spolupráce. Posoudit význam role vedení školy z hlediska kvality komunikace mezi učiteli a rodiči a posoudit dopady spolupráce školy a rodiny na výsledky žáků.
