Das Schizoide Prag - Identität in ausgewählten Werken der Prager deutschsprachigen Schriftsteller

Abstract

The dissertation Das Schizoide Prag - Identität in ausgewählten Werken der Prager deutschsprachigen Schriftsteller deals with the theme of human identity in the texts of the Prague German authors Ernst Weiß, Ludwig Winder, Hermann Ungar and Franz Kafka. Identity is viewed through the psychoanalytical prism of object relations, concentrating in its interpretations on interpersonal relationships. The models of W. R. D. Fairbairn and H. Guntrip are primarily used as the background of the psychoanalytical method presented in the theoretical part. Based on their concept of the so-called schizoid dilemma, i.e. the conviction that all relationships are based on enslavement, the mechanisms applied by the characters are then analysed; mechanisms used to overcome the fundamental tension between emptiness and loss of freedom. Building on these interpretations, the aim of this work is to present the theme of personal identity based on interpersonal relationships as a central theme of the 20th century German literature from Prague. In the didactic part, selected texts by all four authors are then adapted for secondary school teaching and their adaptations reflected upon. Disertační práce Das Schizoide Prag - Identität in ausgewählten Werken der Prager deutschsprachigen Schriftsteller se zabývá tématem lidské identity v textech pražských německých autorů Ernsta Weiße, Ludwiga Windera, Hermanna Ungara a Franze Kafky. Identita je nahlížena psychoanalytickým prizmatem objektních vztahů, v centru textové interpretace tudíž stojí vztahy mezi postavami. Tyto postavy ovšem nejsou chápány jako obrazy konkrétních osob, nýbrž jako znázornění tendencí a mechanismů lidské psychiky. Z oblasti psychoanalýzy jsou v teoretické části práce využity především modely zástupců britské školy W. R. D. Fairbairna a H. Guntripa. V souladu s jejich konceptem tzv. schizoidního dilematu, tj. přesvědčení, že všechny vztahy jsou založeny na zotročení, jsou pak analyzovány mechanismy, které postavy k překonání tohoto základního dilematu mezi nesvobodou a prázdnotou používají. Cílem této práce je na základě provedených interpretací představit téma individuální identity založené na mezilidských vztazích jako ústřední téma pražské německé literatury 20. století. V didaktické části jsou pak v kontextu provedených interpretací didaktizovány vybrané texty všech čtyř uvedených autorů a je reflektováno jejich využití ve výuce na střední škole.
