Prarodiče a jejich vnučky a vnuci s postižením

Abstract

The subject of the bachelor's thesis is an insight into the experiences of grandparents who care for or participate in the care of grandchildren with disabilities. The theoretical part of the thesis contains knowledge about the family, family and intergenerational relationships embedded in the literature, with an emphasis on the historical and contemporary importance of grandparents in the family and their role in raising a grandchild. Last but not least, aspects of the life of a person with a disability in society and in the family are mentioned. The practical part presents the main objectives and secondary research questions. Furthermore, the practical part is devoted to the research methodology, which describes the method of data collection in the form of semi-structured interviews with grandparents of children with various types of disabilities. Data analysis is focused on identifying the main themes related to emotions, needs and coping with the situation within the supportive and caring role of grandparents in the family. In the conclusion, the results of the research investigation are summarized and suggestions for special educational practice are proposed.

Předmětem bakalářské práce je vhled do prožívání prarodičů, kteří pečují nebo se podílejí na péči o vnoučata s postižením. V teoretické části práce jsou obsaženy v literatuře zakotvené poznatky o rodině, rodinných a mezigeneračních vztazích, s důrazem na historický a současný význam prarodiče v rodině a jeho roli v rámci výchovy vnoučete. V neposlední řadě jsou zmíněny aspekty života člověka s postižením ve společnosti i v rodině. V praktické části jsou představeny hlavní cíle a vedlejší výzkumné otázky. Dále je praktická část věnována metodologii výzkumu, v níž je popsaná metoda sběru dat formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s prarodiči dětí s různými typy zdravotního postižení. Analýza dat je zaměřena na identifikování hlavních témat, která se týkají emocí, potřeb a vyrovnávání se se situací v rámci podpůrné a pečující role prarodičů v rodině. V závěru jsou shrnuty výsledky výzkumného šetření a navrženy podněty pro speciálně pedagogickou praxi.
