Subjektivně vnímaná role hudby v životě člověka se zrakovým postižením

Abstract

The thesis deals with the topic of subjectively assigned roles of music in the life of a person with severe visual impairment. The aim of the thesis is to describe these roles of music in a person's life and to find out how they influence areas related to their quality of life, personal and professional spheres and how they shape their socio-cultural determination and identity. In the theoretical anchoring, the thesis introduces the topic of the specificities of visual impairment in the context of music education and discusses the description of some of the technologies used to transcribe music. One chapter is devoted to music and assumptions about music itself, and the roles that music can play in a person's life. The practical section introduces the research questions and aims of the thesis, defines the research methodology, limitations and the research sample. The research findings capture the lived realities of people with severe visual impairment with a strong relationship to music. The findings are further interpreted and discussed in the final part of the thesis. KEYWORDS visual impairment, music, functions of music, prefered music

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem subjektivně přiřazovaných rolí hudby v životě člověka s těžkým zrakovým postižením. Cílem práce je popsat tyto role hudby v životě člověka a zjistit, jak ovlivňují oblasti spojené s kvalitou jeho života, osobní a pracovní sféru a jak formují jeho sociokulturní determinaci a identitu. V teoretickém ukotvení práce přibližuje tématiku specifik zrakového postižení v kontextu hudebního vzdělávání a věnuje se popisu některých technologií využívaných k přepisu hudby. Jedna kapitola se věnuje hudbě a předpokladům k hudbě jako takovým, a rolím, které hudba může v životě člověka hrát. Praktická část představuje výzkumné otázky a cíle práce, vymezuje metodologii výzkumu, limity a výzkumný vzorek. Výsledky výzkumu zachycují žité skutečnosti osob s těžkým zrakovým postižením se silným vztahem k hudbě. Zjištění jsou dále interpretována a diskutována v závěrečné části práce.
