Tělesná identita ve výtvarném umění

Abstract

The bachelor's thesis focuses on corporeality in visual art, particularly in the works of well- known female artists who address the theme of their own bodies in their creations, through which they express their opinions, thoughts, and perspectives. Generally, it deals with the question of how these artists use performance and body art and what the historical context of these artistic directions is. It focuses on experimenting with new media in relation to the human body and analyzes how the body is generally perceived, used, and presented in society. The theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to the phenomenon of corporeality in contemporary art, examining its sources, forms, and cultural and social contexts. The research part will focus on the communication of artworks with the viewer. The bachelor's thesis will include an original creative project on the theme of corporeality. Additionally, it explores certain expressions of resistance against the identities imposed on us by society and the identities expected from us within society. Práce se zabývá tělesností ve výtvarném umění. Je inspirována především známými autorkami, které ve své tvorbě řeší téma vlastního těla, skrze něž vyjadřují své názory, myšlenky a pohledy. Práce se zabývá otázkou, jak tyto umělkyně využívají performance a body art a jaký je historický kontext těchto uměleckých směrů. Práce se zaměřuje na experimentování s novými médii v souvislosti s lidským tělem a analyzuje, jak je tělo obecně vnímáno, používáno a prezentováno ve společnosti. Kromě toho také zkoumá také určité vyjádření vzdoru vůči tomu, jakou identitu nám nutí společnost a co od nás očekává. Ve výzkumné části práce proběhnou rozhovory navazujíc na shlédnutí vybraných uměleckých děl diváky, kteří se primárně o výtvarné umění příliš nezajímají. Rozhovory budou obsahově analyzovány.
