Cesty umělecké performance v regionu

Abstract

The work will focus on performances related to specific place and region - the Karlovy Vary Region. The author will mainly map the ways in which local performance has developed in the course of the 2nd half of the 20th century. The author will follow in the footsteps of specific artists whose artistic work will be examined and presented. The theoretical part of the thesis will based on general definitions of performance as an artistic discipline, the author will then focus on the transformation of these definitions into a site-specific environment (Karlovy Vary region). Furthermore, the author will answer research questions such as: What made performance art in the Karlovy Vary Region specific? What was it responding to? Is it really site-specific? The practical part will include selected recordings from the author's realized performances, which will be followed by primarily the relationship to the place and the use of live art in it. The didactic part will define new possibilities of artistic work in site-specific space within the educational environment with an emphasis on the relationship to one's native place, one's region. Práce se bude zaměřovat na performance spjaté s konkrétním místem a regionem - Karlovarským krajem. Autorka bude především mapovat podoby, jakými se zde lokální performance vyvíjela v průběhu 2. poloviny 20. století. Autorka půjde po stopách konkrétních autorů, jejichž uměleckou tvorbu blíže prozkoumá a představí. Teoretická část práce bude založena na obecných definicích performance jako umělecké disciplíny, autorka se následně zaměří na transformaci popsaných definic do site-specific prostředí (Karlovarského kraje). Dále si autorka bude odpovídat na výzkumné otázky typu: Čím bylo performativní umění v Karlovarském kraji specifické? Na co reagovalo? Je to opravdu místně specifická záležitost? Praktická část bude obsahovat vybrané záznamy z autorčiných realizovaných performancí, které budou sledovat především vztah k místu a využití živého umění v něm. Didaktická část definuje nové možnosti umělecké práce v site-specific prostoru v rámci edukačního prostředí s důrazem na vztah k rodnému místu, svému kraji.
