Subjektivní prožívání jedinců v procesu genderové detranzice

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis explores the subjective experiences of transgender and gender-diverse individuals who have undergone the process of gender detransition. The aim of the research is to understand the meanings they attribute to this process, the internal and external resources that have helped them navigate it, and their experiences with societal stereotypes and professional healthcare. The study follows a qualitative approach and employs the method of Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The research sample consists of four individuals who share personal experiences of gender detransition. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews. The findings reveal the deep existential complexity of detransition as a process of seeking authenticity, bodily safety, and a renewed relationship with the self. The thesis also highlights gaps in professional care systems and the need for broader societal sensitivity to the plurality of gendered experiences. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá subjektivním prožíváním transgender a genderově rozmanitých osob, které mají zkušenost s procesem genderové detranzice. Cílem výzkumu je porozumět tomu, jaký význam tomuto procesu přisuzují, jaké vnitřní a vnější zdroje jim pomáhaly tento proces zvládnout a jaké zkušenosti v této souvislosti mají se společenskými stereotypy a odbornou zdravotní péčí. Práce vychází z kvalitativního přístupu a využívá metodu interpretativní fenomenologické analýzy (IPA). Výzkumný soubor tvoří čtyři jedinci, které sdílejí osobní zkušenost s genderovou detranzicí. Data byla získána pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Výsledky odhalují hlubokou existenciální komplexitu detranzice jako procesu hledání autenticity, tělesného bezpečí i nového vztahu k sobě. Práce zároveň reflektuje mezery v systému odborné péče a potřebu širší společenské citlivosti vůči pluralitě genderových zkušeností.
