Vliv vrstevníků na des/identifikaci s rodiči při vývoji identity z perspektivy jedinců vysokoškolského věku

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis discusses the influence of peers on identification or disidentification with parents, which was outlined through interviews with respondents in the age of emerging adulthood. On a theoretical level, it addresses the current state of research on the interaction between the roles of peers and parents in identity formation and raises the question of whether these roles are complementary or are competing. It examines this, among other things, by focusing on personal characteristics, relational behaviors, and problem-solving strategies learned from parents, and what happens to them when confronted with peers. For the purposes of this thesis, peers are considered to be friends and partners. In the empirical part, the thesis focuses on the analysis of six interviews with respondents with an average age of 22. The interviews were conducted with two working men, one working woman, two studying women, and one studying man, as university students alone cannot be considered as the sole representatives of university-age individuals. Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o vlivu vrstevníků na identifikaci či desidentifikaci s rodiči, který byl nastíněn prostřednictvím rozhovorů s respondenty vysokoškolského věku. Na teoretické úrovni se věnuje současnému stavu výzkumu interakce rolí vrstevníků a rodičů v budování identity a klade si otázku, zda se jedná o role komplementární či role soupeřící. Zkoumá to mimo jiné skrze zaměření na povahu, vztahové chování či strategie zvládání problémů naučené od rodičů a co se s nimi stane při konfrontaci s vrstevníky. Za vrstevníky tato práce považuje přátele a partnery. V empirické části se práce zaměřuje na zpracování a analýzu šesti rozhovorů s respondenty v průměrném věku 22 let. Rozhovory byly provedeny se dvěma pracujícími muži, jednou pracující ženou, dvěma studujícími ženami a jedním studujícím mužem, jelikož nelze brát pouze studenty vysokých škol jako jedince vysokoškolského věku. Cílem bylo zjistit, zda se v určených oblastech, jako jsou například povaha, zájmy, kariéra či vztahy, identifikujeme či desidentifikujeme s rodiči, a jakou roli v tomto procesu zaujímají vrstevníci. Vrstevníkům v rozhovorech v rámci kódování byly přirazeny čtyři role: podporovatel des/identifikace či narušitel des/identifikace.
