Význam dalšího vzdělávání seniorů na U3V

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is first to identify the factors that motivate seniors to participate in studies at the University of the Third Age (U3V). These factors include, for example, the desire to make new friendships, to gain information on topics related to their interests, or to become better acquainted with information technology. The next part of the research will focus on the barriers that may hinder or make it difficult for seniors to study. The thesis will also look at how seniors perceive the impact of education on their lives, what specific areas of their lives are affected by this study and whether they consider these impacts to be positive or negative. Furthermore, the study will look at how studying at U3V helps seniors deal with the changes associated with ageing, such as the loss of a partner or friends, loss of vitality, lack of family interest and feelings of loneliness, and how it contributes to the formation of new social relationships. The first part of the research will take the form of these semi-structured interviews focusing on questions on seniors currently studying at U3V. Cílem této práce je nejprve zjistit faktory, které motivují seniory k účasti na studiu na univerzitě třetího věku (U3V). Mezi tyto faktory patří například touha navázat nová přátelství, získávat informace o tématech souvisejících s jejich zájmy nebo se lépe orientovat v informačních technologiích. Další část výzkumu se zaměří na překážky, které mohou seniorům bránit ve studiu nebo ztěžovat jeho průběh. Práce se rovněž bude věnovat tomu, jak senioři vnímají vliv vzdělávání na jejich životy, jaké konkrétní oblasti jejich života toto studium ovlivňuje a zda tyto dopady považují za pozitivní či negativní. Dále se studie bude zabývat tím, jak studium na U3V pomáhá seniorům vyrovnávat se se změnami spojenými se stárnutím, jako je např. ztráta partnera nebo přátel, úbytek vitality, nedostatek zájmu rodiny a pocit osamělosti, a jak přispívá k vytváření nových sociálních vztahů. První část výzkumu proběhne formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů zaměřených na dotazy seniorů, kteří aktuálně studují na U3V. Tyto rozhovory poslouží k doplnění a formulaci otázek pro následné dotazníkové šetření, které bude představovat druhou fázi výzkumu.
