Psychologické aspekty interrupce z pohledu odborníků

Abstract

This thesis explores the experiences of professionals who work with women in the context of abortion. The aim of the research is to gain insight into the psychological aspects of abortion from the perspective of those who provide support-specifically doctors, psychologists, and midwives-and to examine how they perceive their professional role within this sensitive and socially debated area. The research is based on a qualitative design using six semi-structured interviews with professionals, analyzed through thematic analysis. The findings reveal that professionals view abortion as a multilayered and individually experienced phenomenon that cannot be reduced to binary moral judgments. Their narratives reflect a strong respect for women's autonomy, an emphasis on creating a safe space for emotional expression, and an awareness of the challenges posed by their professional roles. Personal and professional experiences, inner values, and ideals of "good care" play a crucial role in shaping their approach. Respondents also reflect on ethical dilemmas, emotional strain, and systemic constraints, such as limited time or the absence of supervision. Diplomová práce se zabývá zkušenostmi odborníků, kteří pracují se ženami v kontextu interrupce. Cílem výzkumu je nahlédnout psychologické aspekty interrupce z perspektivy těch, kteří ženám poskytují podporu - konkrétně lékařů, psycholožek a porodních asistentek - a prozkoumat, jak vnímají svou profesní roli v tomto citlivém a společensky diskutovaném kontextu. Práce vychází z kvalitativního výzkumného designu a opírá se o sedm polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s odborníky, které byly analyzovány pomocí tematické analýzy. Výsledky ukazují, že odborníci vnímají interrupci jako mnohovrstevnatý, individuálně prožívaný fenomén, který nelze redukovat na černobílé morální kategorie. Ve výpovědích respondentů se odráží respekt k autonomii ženy, důraz na vytvoření bezpečného prostoru pro sdílení emocí i vědomí nároků, které na ně klade profesní role. Významnou roli hrají osobní i profesní zkušenosti, vnitřní hodnoty a představa o tom, co znamená poskytovat "dobrou péči". Respondenti také reflektují etická dilemata, emoční zátěž i systémové limity, jako je nedostatek času nebo absence supervize. Práce přispívá k hlubšímu porozumění profesnímu prožívání odborníků v oblasti interrupcí a poukazuje na potřebu systematičtější podpory, jak pro ženy, tak pro samotné odborníky.
