Hodnocení narativních schopností dětí s vývojovou poruchou jazyka

Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the assessment of narrative skills in children with developmental language disorder. The theoretical part defines this disorder and describes its etiology, symptomatology, diagnosis, and therapeutic options. Furthermore, it examines narrative abilities, their development, their specific characteristics in individuals with this disorder, and diagnostic materials focused on this area. The empirical part is dedicated to a qualitative research study, whose main goal is to assess the narrative abilities of three selected children with developmental language disorder. The sub-goals include analyzing the macrostructure and microstructure of narratives, the ability to understand stories, and differences in narrative abilities during the production and reproduction of stories in children with this disorder. The research method consisted of case studies of three selected preschool-aged boys with developmental language disorder, based on an assessment of their performance during the testing of story production, reproduction, and comprehension using the MAIN test. Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na hodnocení narativních schopností dětí s vývojovou poruchou jazyka. Teoretická část definuje tuto poruchu a popisuje její etiologii, symptomatologii, diagnostiku a možnosti terapie. Dále se zabývá narativními schopnostmi jejich vývojem a specifiky u jedinců s touto poruchou a diagnostickými materiály zaměřenými na tuto oblast. Empirická část se věnuje kvalitativnímu výzkumnému šetření, jehož hlavním cílem je hodnocení narativních schopností tří vybraných dětí s vývojovou poruchou jazyka. Dílčí cíle zahrnují analýzu makrostruktury a mikrostruktury příběhů, schopnosti porozumět příběhům a porovnání narativních schopností při produkci a reprodukci příběhů u dětí s touto poruchou. Metodou výzkumného šetření bylo vytvoření případových studií tří vybraných chlapců v předškolním věku s vývojovou poruchou jazyka na základě hodnocení jejich projevu při testování produkce, reprodukce a porozumění příběhu pomocí testu MAIN. Výsledky výzkumného šetření ukazují, že úroveň narativních schopností sledovaných dětí je značně variabilní, ale i přesto se u nich podařilo odhalit opakující se nedostatky, které se projevovaly zejména v organizaci příběhu, soudržnosti vyprávění, vyjadřování motivace a mentálních stavů postav či v užívání gramatických struktur.
