Životní realita rodiny dívky s Rettovým syndromem

Abstract

This master thesis deals with the family of a girl with Rett syndrome. The aim is to describe the experiences, forms of support and needs of the family of a girl with Rett syndrome. The theoretical part of the thesis includes a description of Rett syndrome including diagnosis, treatment and associated difficulties. The second part of the theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the family of a child with a disability. The research investigation describes an interpretive phenomenological analysis of the family of a girl with Rett syndrome. Data collection was conducted using episodic narrative, group interview and narrative interview with the mother, father and sister of the girl with Rett syndrome. Respondents' accounts focused on the process of diagnosis of Rett syndrome, care for a girl with Rett syndrome, and experiences with social services. The results of the research capture the perspective of one family's experience of caring for and supporting a girl with Rett syndrome in a home setting. The research findings are discussed. Tato diplomová práce se věnuje problematice rodiny dívky s Rettovým syndromem. Cílem je popsat zkušenosti, formy podpory a potřeby rodiny dívky s Rettovým syndromem. Teoretická část práce zahrnuje popis Rettova syndromu včetně diagnostiky, terapie a přidružených obtíží. Druhá část teoretické části práce se zaměřuje na rodinu dítěte s postižením. Výzkumné šetření popisuje interpretativní fenomenologickou analýzu rodiny dívky s Rettovým syndromem. Sběr dat byl realizován pomocí epizodického vyprávění a skupinového rozhovoru s matkou, otcem a sestrou dívky s Rettovým syndromem. Výpovědi respondentů se zaměřovali na proces diagnostiky Rettova syndromu, péči o dívku s Rettovým syndromem a zkušenosti se sociálními službami. Výsledky výzkumu zachycují pohled na zkušenosti s péčí a podporou o dívku s Rettovým syndromem v domácím prostředí z pohledu jedné rodiny. Výsledky výzkumu jsou diskutovány v diskuzi.
