Způsob zobrazení postavy Němce ve vybraných českých románech z přelomu 19. a 20. století

Abstract

Práce si klade za cíl postihnout, jakým způsobem je zobrazena postava Němce ve vybraných českých románech z přelomu 19. a 20. století, a zároveň chce zjistit, jakým způsobem tuto postavu Němce vnímají postavy Čechů uvnitř textu. Pro tyto účely použijeme texty několika zvolených autorů (Svatopluk Čech - Výlety pana Broučka, Jan Klecanda - Bludičky, Karel Klostermann - Skláři, František Sokol-Tůma - V záři milionů). Tituly byly voleny na základě regionálního hlediska (Skláři jsou zasazeni do prostředí Šumavy, V záři milionů do Ostravy a Výlety pana Broučka a Bludičky se odehrávají v Praze, regionálně tudíž práce pokrývá krajní místa české země, a zároveň sleduje dva romány z centra země), časového zařazení (tituly jsou vydány v letech 1888, 1897, 1912 a 1922, čímž pokrývají každou jednotlivou dekádu námi sledovaného období, zároveň svým obsahem pokrývají celé 19. století, tzn. události předrevoluční, revoluční i porevoluční), dále byl brán v potaz i fakt, že díla nejsou příliš známa a zpracována odbornou literaturou, práce tak může čtenáře s těmito díly blíže seznámit. Zvolené romány nenesou primárně národnostní poselství, jedná se o romány s různou tematikou (milostnou, sociální, historickou, humornou), avšak všechny jsou určitým způsobem vlasteneckou otázkou prodchnuty. The thesis aims to understand how the character of the German is portrayed in selected Czech novels from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, and at the same time wants to find out how this character of the German is perceived by the characters of the Czechs within the text. For these purposes, we will use the texts of several selected authors (Svatopluk Čech - Výlety pana Broučka, Jan Klecanda - Bludičky, Karel Klostermann - Skláři, František Sokol-Tůma - V záři milionů). The titles were chosen on the basis of a regional point of view (Skláři are set in the Šumava region, V záři milionů to Ostrava and Výlety pana Broučka and Bludičky take place in Prague, so regionally the work covers the outermost places of the Czech land, and at the same time follows two novels from the centre of the country), chronological classification (the titles were published in the years 1888, 1897, 1912 and 1922, thus covering every single decade of the period we are monitoring, and at the same time covering the entire 19th century with their content, i.e. pre-revolutionary, revolutionary and post-revolutionary events), further consideration was also given to the fact that the works are not very well known and processed by professional literature, the work can thus familiarize the reader with these works.
