Vzdělávací potřeby seniorů v Knihovně Václava Čtvrtka v Jičíně se zaměřením na jejich motivaci k dalšímu vzdělávání

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá fenoménem edukace seniorů. V rámci tématu se blíže zaměřuje na danou problematiku konkrétně v knihovně Václava Čtvrtka v Jičíně. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část empirickou. V teoretické části práce jsou blíže představeny základní pojmy a souvislosti vztahující se k tématu stáří a stárnutí, motivaci a samotné problematice edukace v seniorském věku. V úvodu empirické části práce, která navazuje na praktickou část, je představen hlavní cíl výzkumného šetření, kterým bylo zjistit a analyzovat aktuální potřeby v oblasti vzdělávání seniorů v Knihovně Václava Čtvrtka v Jičíně se zaměřením na jejich motivační faktory v oblasti dalšího vzdělávání v dané knihovně. K naplnění cíle bylo použito 2 výzkumných metod. Jednalo se o dotazníkové šetření, kterého se zúčastnilo 43 seniorů studujících v knihovně Virtuální univerzitu třetího věku, v kombinaci s polostrukturovaným rozhovorem s knihovnicí, která pro seniory aktivity zajišťuje. Analýzou získaných dat byly zodpovězeny výzkumné otázky, které byly stanoveny v návaznosti na cíl práce. Bylo zjištěno, že na seniory působí zároveň několik motivačních faktorů. The thesis addresses the phenomenon of senior education, focusing specifically on this issue in the Václav Čtvrtek Library in Jičín. The work is divided into a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part introduces the basic concepts and contexts related to aging, motivation, and the issue of education in senior age. In the introduction to the empirical part, which follows the practical part, the main goal of the research is presented. This goal was to identify and analyze the current needs in the field of senior education in the Václav Čtvrtek Library in Jičín, with a focus on their motivational factors in further education within this library. Two research methods were used to achieve this goal, a questionnaire survey, which involved 43 seniors studying at the Virtual University of the Third Age in the libary, combined with a semi-structured interview with the librarian who organizes activities for seniors. The analysis of the obtained data answered the research questions, which were formulated in relation to the goal of the thesis. It was found that several motivational factors influence seniors simultaneously.
