Virtuální univerzity třetího věku: srovnání České republiky a vybraných evropských zemí

Abstract

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na virtuální univerzity třetího věku nacházející se na území České republiky. Tyto virtuální univerzity a jejich výukové metody budou porovnány s virtuálními univerzitami třetího věku ve vybraných státech Evropy, konkrétně s virtuálním vzděláváním seniorů ve Velké Británii a ve Francii. V teoretické části bude za použití vhodné literatury popsáno vzdělávání seniorů včetně veškerých souvisejících aspektů gerontagogiky. Dále bude v této části vysvětlena celková problematika virtuálního vzdělávání seniorů, jaké jsou vzdělávací potřeby této vzdělávací skupiny a proč je tato forma výuky vhodná i pro starší populaci. V rámci empirické části bude uskutečněn výzkum za použití metody scoping review. Výzkum bude mít za cíl identifikovat, analyzovat a interpretovat výzkumný problém a vytvořit ucelený koncept virtuálních univerzit třetího věku a porovnat jejich působení v České republice se zastoupením ve vybraných evropských zemích. Pro analytickou část bude použita kvalitativní obsahová analýza. Hlavním zjištěním je, že Virtuální vzdělávání seniorů je klíčovou součástí jejich kontinuálního rozvoje a sociální integrace, což vyplývá z analýzy situace v České republice, Francii a Velké Británii.

The thesis will focus on third-age virtual universities located in the Czech Republic. These virtual universities and their teaching methods will be compared with third-age virtual universities in selected countries in Europe, namely virtual education for the older adults in the United Kingdom and France. In the theoretical part, the education of the older adults, including all related aspects of gerontagogy, will be described using appropriate literature. Furthermore, this section will explain the overall issue of virtual education for seniors, what the educational needs of this educational group are and why this form of teaching is suitable for the older population. Within the empirical part, research will be created using the scoping review method. The research will aim to identify, analyze and interpret the research problem and create a comprehensive concept of third-age virtual universities and compare their performance in the Czech Republic with that in selected European countries. Qualitative content analysis will be used for the analytical part. The main finding is that virtual education for seniors is a key component of their continuous development and social integration, as evidenced by the analysis of the situation in the Czech Republic, France, and the United Kingdom.
