Alternativní a augmentativní komunikace jako prostředek komunikace u osob s kombinovaným postižením

Abstract

The present dissertation entitled Alternative and Augmentative Communication as a Means of Communication for Persons with Multiple Disabilities aims to describe current foreign trends and the results of selected research of foreign experts on the topic. The thesis presents the classifications of communication abilities of persons with multiple disabilities (CFCS - Cerebral Palsy Communication Classification System, VSS - Viking Speech Scale), which are commonly used abroad. It also presents basic information on this issue. It addresses the issue of the appropriateness and correct timing for the introduction of augmentative and alternative communication systems. It debunks the myths associated with the field of AAC that are unfortunately still present in society today. The paper briefly discusses the forms of AAC - unaided and aided systems, the differences between core and fringe vocabulary, and what a proper AAC assessment and intervention should look like. Finally, the importance of collaboration between the family and the whole AAC team, which includes professionals but also all communication partners of the individual, is emphasized. Předkládaná disertační práce s názvem Alternativní a augmentativní komunikace jako prostředek komunikace osob s kombinovaným postižením si klade za cíl popsat současné zahraniční trendy a výsledky vybraných výzkumných šetření zahraničních odborníků daného tématu. Práce prezentuje klasifikace komunikačních schopností u osob s kombinovaným postižením (CFCS - Systém klasifikace komunikačních schopností osob s mozkovou obrnou, VSS - Škála řeči Viking), které jsou v zahraniční běžně používané. Předkládá též základní informace o této problematice. Zabývá se otázkou vhodnosti a správného načasování pro zavedení augmentativních a alternativních systémů komunikace. Vyvrací mýty spojené s oblastí AAK, které jsou bohužel dodnes ve společnosti přítomné. V práci jsou stručně popsány formy AAK - systémy bez pomůcek a systémy s pomůckami, odlišnosti mezi jádrovou a okrajovou slovní zásobou či jak by mělo vypadat správné hodnocení a intervence v oblasti AAK. V neposlední řadě je zdůrazněna důležitost spolupráce rodiny a celého týmu AAK, do kterého spadají odborníci, ale zároveň i všichni komunikační partneři jedince.
