Duševní zdraví, jeho diagnostika a terapie u osob se sluchovým postižením

Abstract

This thesis was created for the purpose of obtaining closer knowledge of the mental health of people with hearing impairment. At the same time, it also deals with psychological diagnostics and therapy for people with hearing impairment in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is divided into three thematic groups. The first area describes the issue of hearing impairment, its classification and more detailed information regarding prelingual and postlingual hearing impairments. Furthermore, it also describes the field of mental health, which focuses more precisely on the description of mental health in individual stages of life, the process of coping with a disability, and the psyche of the parents of a hearing-impaired child. The last segment of the theoretical part is a description of psychological intervention, which is further divided into psychological diagnosis and psychological therapy. In the practical part, there is a qualitative research investigation based on semi-structured interviews conducted with six informants with hearing loss aged 20-35. Tato diplomová práce vznikla za účelem bližšího poznání duševního zdraví u osob se sluchovým postižením. Zároveň se také zabývá psychologickou diagnostikou a terapií pro osoby se sluchovým postižením v rámci České republiky. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří tematických skupin. První oblast popisuje problematiku sluchového postižení, jeho dělení a bližší poznatky ohledně prelingválních a postlingválních vad sluchu. Dále je zde také popsána oblast duševního zdraví, která se podrobněji zaměřuje na popis duševního zdraví v jednotlivých etapách života, proces vyrovnávání se s postižením a také psychiku rodičů dítěte se sluchovým postižením. Poslední část teoretické části tvoří popis psychologické intervence, která je dále rozdělena na psychologickou diagnostiku a psychologickou terapii. V praktické části se nachází kvalitativní výzkumné šetření, které vychází z polostrukturovaných rozhovorů provedených se šesti informanty s nedoslýchavostí ve věku 20-35 let. Z tohoto výzkumného šetření vzešly takové výsledky, které poukazují na nedostatečnou podporu psychologické diagnostiky a terapie pro osoby se sluchovým postižením v ČR.
