Dítě s KI: zkušenosti rodičů s procesem kochleární implantace

Abstract

The central part of this thesis will focus on the process of cochlear implantation in several cases of children, exploring their parents' experiences of receiving specialist care before and after implantation and providing their personal perspectives on implantation. This thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The aim of the theoretical part of the thesis is to give a brief overview of the development of a child with severe hearing impairment and to describe the role of the family, including the acceptance of hearing impairment. A significant part of the theoretical part will be devoted to the process of cochlear implantation in children and outlining the professional and speech therapy intervention. The aim of the practical part of the thesis will be to discover the parents' experiences with the process of cochlear implantation in their children, their cooperation with professionals, from the beginning of the diagnosis process, through the setting of the implant to its use in everyday life. From the methodological point of view, a qualitative method will be here used, specifically a semi-structured interview. Ústřední část této diplomové práce se bude zabývat procesem kochleární implantace u vybraného vzorku dětí a zjišťováním zkušeností jejich rodičů s poskytnutím odborné péče před a po implantaci a zprostředkuje jejich osobního pohled na implantaci. Tato práce je rozdělena na dvě části a sice teoretickou a praktickou. Cílem teoreticky koncipované části práce je stručně přiblížit vývoj dítěte s těžkým postižením sluchu, popsat roli rodiny včetně přijetí sluchového postižení. Značný úsek teoretické části se bude věnovat procesu kochleární implantace u dětí a nastínění průběhu odborné i logopedické intervence. Cílem praktické části práce bude prostřednictvím polostrukturovaného rozhovoru zmapovat zkušenosti rodičů s procesem kochleární implantace u jejich dětí, jejich spolupráci s odborníky, od zahájení diagnostiky, přes nastavování implantátu až po jeho užívání v každodenním životě. Dále se také zaměřit se na to, jak v jednotlivých případech probíhala odborná intervence od zjištění sluchové vady po nastavování kochleárního implantátu. Z metodologického hlediska bude využito metody kvalitativní, konkrétně polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Celkem byly stanoveny čtyři výzkumné otázky odvíjející se od hlavní výzkumné otázky.
