Poezie českých mileniálů (2010-2020) - tematicko-motivická analýza

Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the poetry of Czech millennials between 2010 and 2020.The thesis analyses 25 works by laureates or candidates of literary prizes (mainly the Jiří Orten Prize and the František Halas Prize) and works from leading Czech poetry publishers (Dauphin, Fra, Host, Větrné mlýny, Dybbuk). The analysis focuses on identifying the motifs that appear across the works of the authors in question and uses these motifs to illustrate a broader theme, which is then confronted with sociological studies. What emerges is a comprehensive insight into the poetics of a generation of poets emerging in the recent decade. Two major themes in the poetry of millennials are identified in the thesis as the trauma of a lost childhood and the critique of capitalist society. The themes of God and Christian motifs, themes and motifs related to the human body, the theme and motif of death, and pop culture motifs are also treated in the thesis. The thesis concludes with a comprehensive look at the developmental tendencies in the poetry of millennials in terms of thematic, motivic and formal aspects; other observations that emerged from the analysis are also appended.

Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat poezii českých mileniálů v období mezi lety 2010 a 2020. V práci je analyzováno 25 děl laureátů či kandidátů literárních cen (především Ceny Jiřího Ortena a Ceny Františka Halase) a děl z předních českých nakladatelství poezie (Dauphin, Fra, Host, Větrné mlýny, Dybbuk). Analýza se zaměřuje na určení motivů, které se objevují napříč díly daných autorů, a na těchto motivech se snaží ilustrovat širší témata, která jsou následně konfrontována se sociologickými studiemi. Vzniká tak souhrnný vhled do poetiky v nedávné dekádě nastupující generace básníků. Dvě hlavní témata v poezii mileniálů jsou v práci identifikována jako trauma z(a)traceného dětství a kritika kapitalistické společnosti. Dále je v práci zpracován motiv Boha a křesťanská motivika, témata a motivy týkající se lidského těla, téma a motiv smrti a popkulturní motivy. Práci uzavírá souhrnný pohled na vývojové tendence v poezii mileniálů z hlediska tematického, motivického i formálního, připojena jsou i další pozorování, která z analýzy vyplynula.
