Porovnání vybraných edukačních platforem

Abstract

The thesis compares selected educational platforms. Its aim was to analyse the selected online platforms and their functions with regard to the possibility of incorporating modern teaching methods in adult education. The theoretical part is based on desk research, relevant literature and other available sources and defines the terms related to the issue, which are andragogy, adult education methods and online education. It also presents current trends and objectives of education in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part concludes with an overview of relevant theoretical background from which the research part of this thesis is based on. In view of the need for a detailed examination of the selected platforms, a qualitative research strategy and a content analysis method were chosen. The platforms chosen for the research are Knowspread, Thinkific, Miro and BigBlueButton. For the purposes of the thesis, their functions for course design were characterized and presented in the analysis. The interpretation of the data conveys a summary table which shows that all the above mentioned platforms include the functionality to upload a file, embed a URL to an external multimedia/website and the functionality to download the embedded file. Diplomová práce se zabývá porovnáním vybraných edukačních platforem. Jejím cílem je analyzovat vybrané online platformy a jejich funkce s ohledem na možnost zařazení moderních výukových metod při vzdělávání dospělých. Teoretická část je zpracována na základě dohledané odborné literatury a dalších dostupných zdrojů a vymezuje pojmy související s problematikou, kterými jsou andragogika, metody vzdělávání dospělých a online vzdělávání. Představuje také aktuální trendy a cíle směřování vzdělávání v České republice. Závěrem teoretické části je shrnutí důležitých teoretických východisek, ze kterých dále čerpá výzkumná část práce. Z hlediska potřeby detailního zkoumání vybraných platforem byla zvolena kvalitativní strategie výzkumu a metoda obsahové analýzy. Zkoumanými online vzdělávacími platformami byly Knowspread, Thinkific, Miro a BigBlueButton. Pro potřeby diplomové práce byly v rámci analýzy charakterizovány a představeny jejich funkce pro vytváření kurzu. Interpretace dat zprostředkovává přehlednou tabulku, ze které je patrné, že všechny výše zmíněné platformy obsahují funkce možnost nahrání souboru, vložení URL na externí multimédia / webovou stránku a funkci stáhnout vložený soubor.
