dc.description.abstract | Catastrophic geomorphological processes occurring in the landscape are a manifestation of its topographical attributes. Spatially variable topographically based attributes permit the distribution of geomorphological phenomena to be mapped in the landscape. They can be derived from digital elevation models using a variety of surface analysis methods and spatially modeled. In addition, the integration of geomorphological data in GIS demands extensive consideration of GIS data models and analytical techniques. | en |
