Milosrdné sestry sv. Karla Boromejského na příkladu vybraných ústavů sociální péče v letech 1948-1989

Abstract

Práce Milosrdné sestry sv. Karla Boromejského na příkladu vybraných ústavů sociální péče v letech 1948-1989 je zaměřena na tři ústavy sociální péče pro mentálně postižené, ve kterých v době komunistického režimu pracovaly Milosrdné sestry sv. Karla Boromejského. Cílem práce je nejen z dostupných primárních pramenů sestavit historii a vývoj tří zkoumaných ústavů sociální péče, ale také zjištěné informace v závěru analyzovat a komparovat. V závěrečné analýze pak sleduji především počátky jednotlivých ústavů, dále životy sester a chovanců ve všech zkoumaných ústavech a v závěru se věnuji ukončení působení řeholnic v jednotlivých ústavech. Prvním ze zkoumaných míst je Ústav sociální péče v Hrabicích, kde řeholnice působily od roku 1949 do roku 1989. Druhý ze zkoumaných ústavů se nacházel v letech 1953 až 1983 v obci Komorní Lhotka. Třetí zkoumaný ústav ležel v městečku Česká Kamenice a zde sestry pracovaly od roku 1953 do roku 1980. Všechny tři ústavy spojuje jejich poloha, nacházely se v odlehlých místech či v oblastech, kde nebyla silná náboženská komunita. Počátky jednotlivých ústavů a komunit sester se sice dosti lišily, jedním ze spojujících prvků je však útlak režimu v 50. letech. The thesis The Sisters of Mercy of St. Borromeo on example selected institutions of social care 1948-1989 is focused at three institutions of social care for mentally handicapped persons, in which The Sisters of Mercy of St. Borromeo worked during the communist régime. The aim of the work is not only to compile the history and development of the three researched institutes of social care from the available primary sources but also to analyze and compare the information found in the conclusion. In the final analysis, we follow mainly the beginnings of individual institutes, then the lives of sisters and inmates in all examined institutes, and in the end we focus on the termination of the work of nuns in individual institutes. The first of the examined places is the institute of social care in Hrabice, where nuns worked from 1949 to 1989. The second of the researched institutes was located in the years 1953 to 1983 in the village of Komorní Lhotka. The third research institute was located in the town of Česká Kamenice, where nurses worked there from 1953 to 1980.
